Since I was young I’ve loved animals — both learning about and taking care of them. As a Dog Walker , I have the opportunity to share my love of animals with my clients and pet owners all over the South Ottawa area.
I pride myself on the high-standard of care and services. After working in the Federal Government for 30 years. I understand the importance of high quality customer service. I hope I get the chance to meet your lovely pet soon.
FIRST THINGS FIRST
Getting to know your dog and you
Paw Parade will first meet with you and your dog at your house to discuss what services you would like and adjust accordingly.  For example if you have a puppy, we will design the puppy's walk just for him/her to learn new things and not be with other dogs until he/she is ready. The price can be pro-rated based on your dog's needs.  Paw Parade will assess if your dog can walk with other dogs or would be more comfortable walking alone. If keys are shared with Paw Parade, we have a secure box with a numbering system to keep them safe and organized.  We have a form to fill out on our first visit which will outline all your dog's behaviors, schedule, special toys etc... Paw Parade will take care to ensure your pet is happy and comfortable. EXERCISE
Responsible & Reliable
My Exercise service allows you to make sure your dog is well taken care of, even when you’re not around. I offer this for all sizes and breeds. Price is $17.00 for 1/2 hour and $25.00/hour plus HST.

Everything You Need to Know
HOW MANY DOGS CAN YOU WALK AT ONCE?
Paw Parade will only walk 3 to 4 dogs at one time only if we have written permission from the owners that they agree with this arrangement.  For example if we are caring for a puppy, we will only walk the puppy alone until they are properly socialized and have all their vaccinations.
MY PET NEEDS TO GO TO THE VET. WILL YOU TAKE THEM?
Paw Parade will only bring your dog to the vet if you have agreed to this action in an emergency situation. Or if you need us to bring your dog to the vet as a service we can do that for you with a fee. In this case written consent from the owner will be required and a contract would be created in advance to ensure all parties agree to the arrangement. The client would notify their vet in advance of this arrangement.
